You freely shuffle a deck of cards, as you ask for the loan of a ten pence piece. The coin is initialled on one side by the magician and on the other side by the spectator. You then cut a stack of cards from the deck these are freely shown back and front and then placed over the mouth of a glass, the coin is then taken and VISIBLY pushed through the deck of cards and lands inside the glass. They can actually see the signed coin inside the glass. The cards are now removed and once again shown back and front. The coin is removed and handed back to the spectator.
